Reserving and Purchasing Card Readers
Reserving Card Readers
Campus Activities has purchased several card readers for student clubs to check-out and use for their events. Card readers provide an easy and efficient way for groups to track participation and attendance at events. The card reader plugs into a computer USB port, and clubs can export the data into an Excel file.
All reservations must be submitted in AppSync at least three days before your event by completing the Card Reader Reservation Form in AppSync. Card readers can be reserved for 48 hours.
Purchasing Card Readers
Many clubs and organizations have come to love card readers and their use for events, meetings, conferences, auditions, etc. If you are an organization that finds yourself reserving card readers frequently, card readers can be purchased online.
You can purchase an MSR90 Card Swipe Reader here for about $19.00.
If you have questions, please email email@example.com or stop by Club Hub in Plemmons Student Union, Room 219.
